Karrissa Gore was born and raised in the city of Denver, Colorado. Karrissa Attended Wichita State University in Kansas, majoring in the health professions industry. Later she attended Metropolitan State University of Denver majoring in business and management. Karrissa worked and managed in the food service industry while attending college. During this time she acquired a plethora of skills and knowledge involving people, business, and the need for tending to a positive relationship between the two. Karrissa enjoyed learning and getting to know the people she came across, their stories and their cultures. In doing so she realized common needs, wants, and desires among people of various backgrounds and upbringings. One of the most important of those is for people to live a life of significance, to do something that impacts the people around them in a great and positive way.
Karrissa moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in 2017 with her husband and children. Their main reason for moving was to help care for her mother-in-law, whose many health and medical complications started to become serious. Island life, although very different from the city life, has proved to be just what Karrissa and her growing family need. Being entrepreneurs, Karrissa and her husband started a business and offer a variety of services to the big island. They understand some of the biggest needs of this growing community in west Hawaii are, quality and knowledgeable tending to the land, flexible business with integrity and accountability, and the care and attention to clients needs while understanding their values, and what is most important to them.
