Patrick Kauanoe Lum, Realtor
Patrick was born & raised in Hawaii, is a graduate of The Kamehameha Schools, and of University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Shortly after college, Patrick purchased his first home and developed his passion for real estate, in Las Vegas.
As a hospitality software specialist, he worked 12 hour shifts consulting management teams open 22 resorts around the US and abroad. During this period, Patrick sharpened his communication skills into what make him a step above other agents. He then joined the The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, in Washington, D.C., and attended countless training forums on how to deliver the best, polished, five-star customer service possible.
Next, Patrick entered the field of property management, and earned a "Sales Associate of the Quarter” award, among 100+ colleagues. As a sales manager, Patrick led teams in opening three residential high rises, cutting his teeth doing “whatever it took” to remain successful in the constantly changing business environments of new construction projects. He was known for being hands-on and was often found “in the trenches,” supporting his teams. Promoted to district sales manager, Patrick grew to support nine rental communities including its staff, management, 3000+ units and 7500+ residents. Continually practicing strong communication, dependability, and problem solving skills, he quickly became the trusted adviser past clients and colleagues still view him as today.
Patrick then purchased his second home in Washington, D.C., which he continues to manage remotely.
Clients and supervisors describe Patrick as genuine, honest, dependable, and an, “all-around nice guy.” When not working, Patrick and his wife Wendy enjoy cooking, traveling, listening to live music, and relaxing at the beach.
