In September, single-family home sales climbed 27.2% year-over-year, with 276 sales, and condo sales rose 11.5% with 408 units sold.
“Sales activity gained strong momentum in September, closing out the quarter on a high note,” said Trevor Benn, President of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS®. “Even with more listings on the market and slightly longer decision timelines, buyers remained active across a wide range of price points, showing resilience and confidence in Oʻahu’s housing market.”
Sales for single-family homes are up 27.2% when compared to this time last year, with 276 sales in September. Homes spent a median of 26 days on the market in September, 4 days longer than the previous month. The median sales price for single-family homes was $1,155,000 in September representing an increase of 3.8% when compared to this time last year.
There were 408 condos sold last month, which represents an increase of 11.5% when compared to September 2024. The median number of days on the market for condos was 40 days last month, eight days shorter than the previous month. The median sales price for condos in September 2025 was $508,750, representing a decrease of 1.7% when compared to one year ago.
