Hawai’i Island Visitor Industry Charity Walk

The Hawaii Island Visitor Industry Charity Walk will take place May 11 at Queen’s Marketplace. Following the walk, the always popular post-race celebration will take place at the Waikoloa Bowl. Registration begins at 5:30 a.m./the 5k run begins at 6:45 a.m. and the 5k walk begins at 7:30 a.m. The annual fundraiser benefits nonprofit organizations on the Island of Hawai’i and across the state. 2nd Annual Hawai’i Kuauli Pacific & Asia Cultural Fest

A celebration of Hawai’i Island as a cultural melting pot. This 3 day event will be packed with food, fashion, cultural expressions, a keiki hula competition and cultural workshops.
Friday, May 17: Hawaiian Welcoming Ceremony & Protocol. The visiting nations of the Pacific and Asia honor their host, Hawai’i, with gifts and expressions of song and dance. Saturday, May 18: Wearable Arts Fashion Show – This show features designers from Hawai’i Island, as well as highlighting the different cultures represented on our island.
