Located in South Maui is the 165 acre Makena State Beach Park. The beach park includes two white sand beaches, Makena Beach or Big Beach and Pu’u Olai Beach or Little Beach. Also included in the park is the volcanic cinder cone, Pu’u Olai.

Wai’anapanapa State Park is located off of the Hana Highway in northeast Maui and is a scenic coastline park that is great for camping, fishing, and hiking. Don’t miss the black sand beach during your visit! The landscape is drastically remote and stunningly beautiful.
