Agent Spotlight: Chris Alvaro

This entry was posted in Realtor on .

Last month we spotlighted Gina Alvaro on our Agent Spotlight and this month we are spotlighting Gina’s son and one of LUVA Realtor’s Broker-in-Charge’s Chris Alvaro. Chris’s real estate career began as an investor in single-family homes, where he and his wife began flipping properties in Asheville, NC. In 2014, he got his real estate broker’s license in the state of North Carolina and added the sales side of the business to his portfolio. During the first quarter of 2017, Chris was chosen as one of the top 50 realtors in Western North Carolina! Chris moved from North Carolina to Hawaii in 2017 and during that same year got his Hawaii Broker’s license. The move to Hawaii marked the 15th move in 11 years for his family – relocation and real estate are big parts of his life. Chris’s Hawaiian heritage and love for the island culture are what drew he and his family to relocate to the Big Island. Shortly after moving to Big Island, he joined the LUVA ohana in 2019.

Chris originally got into real estate to facilitate transactions for personal investment properties. He quickly transitioned into helping others meet their real estate goals, whether it be buying their first home, their forever home, or expanding their rental portfolio. With his years of experience in the design and execution of home renovations in North Carolina and Hawaii, Chris has a passion for helping people do more than simply buy or sell a piece of real estate. His goal is to offer a “Ritz-Carlton” client experience by providing the absolute best and most luxurious care to all his clients. Chris loves all real estate and has experience with foreclosures, REO properties, land, condos, single-family homes, new construction, and commercial properties.

Chris understands that it is a great responsibility and privilege to be trusted to help people make the largest purchase of their lives. He views each transaction as a special honor to build relationships and guide clients through the often emotional process of buying and selling real estate. Building these relationships is the best part of being a Realtor.

Chris is married with two young boys, and he loves everything Hawaii has to offer him and his family. From surfing, kayaking, and paddle-boarding to fishing, camping, and hiking Chris is often still busy enjoying the outdoors with his family on his off time from work!
