Gypsea Gelato operates out of two storefront locations – one in Kailua-Kona at Coconut Grove and the other in Kealakekua. They are open daily from 12 – 8:30PM. Using fresh and local ingredients whenever possible, their gelato is all handmade in their Kealakekua shop. The menu rotates and the flavors are creatively curated, focusing on seasonal and locally found Hawaiian ingredients. They also always have staple crowd-favorites flavors like the mauka trail, rocky road, just chocolate, 100% kona coffee, mango sorbet, and garden mint chip. Not a fan of dairy? We also love that their menu features some non-dairy gelato and sorbet options! The portions are generous, and their team is always helpful when you can’t decide what flavor to get.
