The iconic Hau Tree is located inside the Kaimana Beach Hotel in Waikiki with unobstructed ocean views. Both the restaurant and the hotel went under massive renovations after ownership changed last December. James Beard nominated local chef Chris Kajioka leads the kitchen and popular mixologist Jen Ackrill creates unique new cocktails and old signatures with fun twists. The casual and comfortable beachside vibe at Hau Tree is complete with mature hau trees draped with elegant lanterns. Since its welcomed renovations, it has once again become a favorite place for place for brunch, lunch, pau hana, and dinner. The menu offers affordable pupus and mains to share using local and seasonal ingredients as much as possible.
